SAMA GOAL


Several Africans were involved in Genk's 5-1 Europa League Play Off final win over Charleroi in Belgium on Sunday 29 with Tanzania star Mbwana Samata netting one and creating an assist.
Genk won 5-3 on aggregate having lost the first leg 2-0 and have now made it to the Europa League for next season. Samata and Nigeria's Wilfred Ndidi were the Africans who started for Genk while DRC's Neeskens Kebano and Ghana's Bennard Kumordzi came on as substitutes.
Samata, the former TP Mazembe star, scored Genk's second goal in the 27th minute and created the fourth goal.
Samata was one of the Taifa Star’s players who were absent during the friendly match against Kenya which ended in a 1-1 draw.
